The Descent X30 puts a large, bright display and pro-grade decompression tools on your wrist — without the air-integration price tag. Here's what stands out underwater.
The 2.4″ color screen is one of the largest and brightest in its category. Pick your layout, size your fonts, and put depth, NDL, or PPO₂ exactly where you want it.
Orient the four leakproof metal buttons on the top or bottom of the housing so the X30 sits naturally alongside the rest of your gear — and works easily with gloves on.
Watch a live graph of your depth with a projected ascent plan that includes safety and decompression stops, plus audible and vibration alerts to keep you aware.
The housing and bezel are built with recycled ocean-bound plastics, wrapped around a fiber-reinforced case and chemically strengthened glass. Rugged and responsible.
Surface GPS marks entry and exit points and guides you to the spot. Back on deck, wirelessly upload logs to the Garmin Dive app to review, share, and track gear usage.
Start on air or nitrox and step up to multi-gas and trimix when you're ready. One bottom gas plus up to 11 deco/backup gases on the Bühlmann ZHL-16c algorithm.
The X30 is a wrist computer and isn't air-integration compatible — if you want tank pressure on your wrist, we'll point you to the right model. Talk to a PADI pro before you buy.
Call 855-OTA-DIVEYes. The large display and clear layouts make it one of the easiest computers to read underwater, and you can run it in simple single-gas or gauge mode while you build experience. As you earn more certifications, the same computer grows with you into multi-gas and trimix diving.
No — the X30 is not air-integration compatible and doesn't pair with a tank transmitter. It tracks depth, time, NDL, gas mix, ascent rate, and more. If air integration is a must-have for you, give us a call and we'll recommend an alternative in the Garmin lineup.
Up to 30 hours in dive mode at the default medium brightness, roughly 10 hours at high brightness, and up to 47 hours in night-dive mode. That's plenty for a weekend of diving or a liveaboard without mid-trip charging. It recharges with the included Garmin clip cable.
The X30 includes surface GPS to navigate to a site and mark your entry and exit points, plus a 3-axis digital compass for heading underwater. After the dive, wirelessly upload your track and profile to the Garmin Dive app to review and share.
Always. Every computer purchased from OTA includes a free setup walkthrough with our team. We'll help you configure dive modes, alerts, gradient factors, and the Garmin Dive app so you're ready before your first descent. Call 855-OTA-DIVE or stop by the shop in Katy.
Order the Garmin Descent X30 from a dive shop that actually dives — with expert setup, full warranty, and PADI pros a phone call away.
