Expedition Itinerary
Luxor to Aswan (4 Nights)
The All Star Fayrouza offers a uniquely paced journey. Unlike crowded cruise ships, our Dahabiya allows for intimate landings and a schedule that prioritizes the best light for photography and exploration.
- • Day 1: Arrival & The West Bank – Board the Fayrouza for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, cross the Nile to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in Luxor.
- • Day 2: The East Bank & Sailing – After breakfast, explore the massive Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Return to the vessel to begin sailing south toward Edfu, passing through the Esna Locks.
- • Day 3: Edfu & Kom Ombo – Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Enjoy a peaceful day of sailing before arriving at the "double" temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris.
- • Day 4: Aswan & Philae – Arrive in Aswan. Visit the High Dam and the stunning Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Enjoy a traditional Galabia Party celebration in the evening.
- • Day 5: Disembarkation – Final breakfast on board. Farewell to the Nile with optional early morning excursions to Abu Simbel available before departure.
Note: Our Dahabiya moorings are selected for their tranquility, often docking at private islands away from the large cruise ship ports.

Dahabiya Nile Expedition
This exclusive 2027 Nile voyage is limited to just 12 staterooms. To secure your space aboard the All Star Fayrouza, a $500 deposit per person is required. Remaining balances are managed through our secure trip management system.

After your deposit, the balance is split into five equal payments:

Protecting Your Investment
Life happens—flight delays, medical concerns, and family emergencies can arise unexpectedly. To ensure peace of mind, trip insurance is strongly recommended for all guests.
Critical: The 24-Hour Window
To qualify for the most comprehensive coverage—including "Cancel For Any Reason" (CFAR)—travel insurance must be purchased within 24 hours of placing your deposit.
Why Insurance Matters
Because we charter the vessel in advance, all payments made on a payment plan are non-refundable once received. This is standard practice for boutique liveaboard expeditions worldwide.
- • Strict Cancellation: Trip insurance protects the financial value of your trip if you are forced to cancel.
- • Medical Coverage: Many policies include emergency evacuation and medical care abroad.
Diver Awareness: Trip insurance and Dive Accident insurance are separate. Dive Accident insurance (like DAN) is mandatory; Trip Insurance is highly recommended.
