 Getting Outside the Asylum is Morad's passion in life and diving.  He loves to be underwater, whether it's in a swimming pool or a tropical reef he's most at home beneath the surface.  He started his diving career in the crystal clear springs of Florida and is headed back there to start his cave diving courses.  Morad spent several years teaching scuba diving in Houston, Texas before moving to his favorite dive destination: the Red Sea.  He spent several more years in Egypt guiding, teaching and perfecting his diving skills with continuing education.  He trained with some of the biggest names in the International technical diving world and now brings his experience, passion for diving, and zest for fun back to Houston.

Dahab was born and raised in Egypt and is named for the town where we met him.  After a quick interview, he accepted the position of Head of Security at OTA and he's traveled with us ever since.  He loves milkbones and mud puddles and long afternoons at the dog park.  

Jeanne Cinquegrana

Jeanne's passion is underwater photography and videography.  She's traveled the world with her camera and enjoys telling the story of a place through her lens.  She's also a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and enjoys introducing new divers to the wonders of the underwater world.  Jeanne spent three years as an instructor, guide and professional underwater photographer and filmmaker in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt and now brings her experience and expertise to Houston.

Martin and Vali are originally from Slovakia, but have made their home in Egypt's Red Sea town of Hurghada for the last 10 years.  Martin is a PADI Instructor and dive guide and Vali is a Tour Leader and Travel Expert. They are OTA's Red Sea Team and will make sure your holiday is perfect, right down to the last detail.  

Sammy Hassan

Sammy is OTA's resident artist. His larger-than-life murals grace the walls at OTA Diving & Travel.   Sammy gets Outside The Asylum whenever he has a paintbrush in his hand or a Scuba tank on his back.  He is currently working on his Rescue Diver Certification and plans to become a Scuba Instructor. 

Mato Valnicek

Mato lives in the beautiful city of Kosice in Slovakia where he commands OTA Europe's marketing team. Growing up in a family of divers,  Mato was introduced early on to Scuba Diving by his father and dive instructor, Jacques.  When Mato is not diving in his favorite location, The Red Sea, he can be found horse-back riding through the lovely Slovakian countryside.  

Jordan Hicks

Jordan is a PADI Dive Instructor and a Service Technician.  Jordan started his dive career in the icy waters of Boston harbor and was instantly hooked on the sport.  He became a commercial diver and spent 10 years in the Oilfield.  He has dived from Puget Sound to Long Island Sound and from the Maldives to the Mediterranean.  He loves teaching Open Water Courses and sharing his passion for diving and the underwater world.
